Hello, My name is Jordan and I’m an upcoming artist working on my brand as a creative. I’m originally from the South, born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and spent most of my life in Houston, Texas, before moving to Columbus, Ohio where I graduated from Olentangy Liberty High School. My upcoming move will be to Washington, D.C., to attend Howard University to pursue pre medicine. 

   My love of art seemed to come from nowhere. I had never liked to draw nor paint until the ripe young age of 11 when I was in my sixth grade leadership class tasked with learning to lead a new class of incoming elementary students. During an activity I began taking time to draw an eye from memory, over, and over, and over and soon enough, a new seed had been planted. While I cannot say that my relationship with art was love at first sight, I can say that it has made such a positive impact upon my life that would otherwise be impossible. 

   Because I recently embraced the endeared title of “artist”, I am serious about creating unique and original pieces that not only feel good to create, but in the end are also distinguished and compelling. Art feeds my soul, and I aim for my art to feed the souls of viewers and not be just another pretty object to view. I want my work to make waves and pour into people.
